I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that came to our stand at the NEC through out last week. All the feedback was wonderful and gave us all a massive boost.
I must admit I cant give you the run down of the event like I normally do as we were really busy and I only got to the stalls that I need materials from.
I did do two wonderful workshops, that I fully enjoyed. One with Isobel Hall talking about her wonderful work with Lutradur and Vilene. Her bags and books are defiantly something to look at and her books are very good also.
And the other was with the wonderful and fun Kim Thittichai from Nid Noi. Kim is a wonderful artist. Our work shop was working with Lutradur, a soldering iron and heat gun.... fab!!!
Another artist that I met was Sue Allan creator of Sew Sister. We had a really good talk at the start of the day about her lovely dolls, buttons, needle felt sheets and art samples. Lovely to talk to you Sue!!
The coast stand was also fantastic to look at. It was set beautifully with all the artwork hanging from the top of the stand so you could walk through them. Hears a few pictures of the work.
Well that's some of my reflections of the show.
I'm having Ditzy the fairy modelled by one of my family friends tomorrow. So await the pictures!! Also I need to start designing my next project for my course, which I'm really excited about! Its going to be felted and go wonderfully with Ditzy..................

Going to the NEC
Well tomorrow is the big day when me and Ditzy Dorisena go to the NEC, Birmingham, to set up the stand (with a few friends) for the Fashion, Embroidery and Stitch Exhibition.
Ditzy Dorisena
This is a wonderful opportunity that we have been given and I'm really looking forward to seeing all our work being displayed. Our teacher (Cherlyn Tyler) is really proud of the pieces that we've produced and it will be a wonderful stand. Ill hopefully sneak a few preview pictures of the stand tomorrow night.
If you can make it, we will be near the Fashion Catwalk and Refreshment area. Longslade Stand. Ill be there on the Sunday, so come and say hi!

Well its none stop as per-usual and these are a few of my newbies. Iv had to think what to replace my scarfs with in the summer (Not a big seller in the summer!!). So iv been experimenting...........
These are my Flower Lollipop Money Purses. This is the first time that iv made anything like this............. quite impressed my craftie mother in law that machines quite alot! There not perfect in shape, but I think that adds to there cuteness!
There made from 100% wool felt, have needlefelted flower heads and machined embroidered stems ans leaf. Zip toggle and are lined.......... so proud!! lol!!
Mmmmm...... theres a preesie day coming up for some special ladies in our lifes!!! Wonder what day that could be........... Hint hint to my kiddies and hubby!
Iv made these as pressies for our mums and godmothers. Though not decided who is getting which one yet. One's mine though. There made from handspun merino wool, which has been hand dyed and brooched at the back. With a few beads in the middle and a bit of embroidery on a couple of them. Wear them with pride mothers!!
