What a gloomy day! So I thought I would brighten you up with what I made yesterday........
I had my delivery from Sara Texture Crafts on Friday........ Thanks for the swift delivery Sara! So I had to play!
I made these sheets of felt first thing...........................
and I made these......
Fab container boxes.
Also I gave this heart a new lease of life as machine pin cushion!
In the afternoon I went to the Lutterworth Embroiders Guild for a wonderful talk by Ruth Issett. Her life story and work was fascinating. Her colourful pieces were to die for. I'm so inspired! The tea and cakes were also very nice ladies!!
Well today's challenge is to make a order of custom buttons. Have a good day all !!
Yesterday we took a trip to the coast to see Keilly and her Mad about Nature stall at the Sandringham Craft Fair (For her Felted Soap launch!) and a outing to the beach.
Keillys lovely looking stall.
The fair started on the Friday and I had a "OMG half the soaps have gone already" scenario on our hands! So I set to felting more of the soaps to take on the Saturday. After restocking the basket up and a few photos later.......
Rainbow basket of colours, re-stocked!
Keilly kindly took some of my goodies.
....... we had a good look round as it was a fantastic sunny day. There was loads going off, including falconry, ferret racing, all sorts of demonstrations and a fab food tent! I had a Cromer Crab. It was delicious (my weakness!)! Sorry no pictures as I had ate it before I thought about photos!
Then we head off to the beach at Snettisham and walked to Heacham, where we had a play and paddle.
A good day had by all and with two very tied kiddies we headed back home.
Keilly is on her travels to Sandringham Craft Fair this weekend with not only her beautiful soaps and bathcare products, but also with the colourful /wonderful felted soaps that Iv felted for her and a few baskets of my felted goodies too. If you are near by please go and say hi to her and have a peek!! Im going to pop over on Saturday for a nosie as im going to be there in Sept and Nov.
Well iv been sorting out my workshop. It had got to a point that I had moved into the dining room, which didn't look good!! As I already store my stock in there as well as. So Iv took action this week and had a good clear out...... 5 bin bags later and ha-presto!!!
Its good to be back in there again. Iv took loads of toys down for little man, so hopefully he wont get to board and sorted out loads of arty things out for my daughter to create with. Just need to take the down the tea bags!!
