Since coming off holiday, its been non-stop! Iv been uploading, creating, and updating! I think I'm in a frenzy in getting loads made before my course starts and for the Christmas season.

Bought some flowers!

A florist has opened up in the village, so I went for a noisy and got some flowers.
I rather like them in my felted vase.

Im Back Crafting Again!

Yes, it has been a long while since i featured something on my Blog! A certain little man tends to take up a lot of time at the moment.

So here we go!

My daughters school are doing the "do something funny for money" for the read nose day on the 13th March. She needs to go school in a costume that's funny! So last night i spent 3 hours....yes 3 hours sewing on 30 red circles on a old pair of jeans for her. I'm not to good at free hand sewing! It was worth the big hug this morning, when she saw them.

More soap!
They just need wrapping in my handmade paper and labeling. Just stocking up for the new session!

These are the soaps:
Zing! - Grapefruit, Lime, Melissa and Poppy seeds
Soothing – Lavender, Clary Sage, Patchouli and Petigrain, with Lavender buds
Nurturing – Geranium Bourbon and Mandarin, with a Rose bud
Sensitive – Lavender and Chamomile, with Calendula flower

Different Cards
Iv been making cards for a while now and I could actually say that I'm developing a style of my own now. Hear are a few which iv been making for my new website.

This is a piece of needle felting which I'm making into a picture for a friend. Ill put a picture on when its finished.... hopefully soon!

I'm also redesigning my website. So that's my update.

Welcome to my first blog edition!
I hope you'll enjoy reading what is happening in the life of Creative Bumble Bee (CBB) and keep coming back for more!

Life before
October 07, before CBB was born.... I dont think my feet used to touched the ground! (though i cant say they do know!)I used to be a Complementary Therapies Lecturer at a local FE College, part owner of a Hairdressing, Complementary Therapy and Academy Salon, is well as being a mummy and a housewife. I thought it was time to look at what i was doing in my life and seeming there were elements which i could'nt control i thought i would take a career change!

I now have a few days being a busy mobile Hairdresser and Complementary therapist and have more time with my little one. Inbetween I make soaps, creams, bath products, jewellery, do felting, make some cards etc. So im still busy... but i enjoy it!

Well thats enough of me and more about CBB!

A good start to the week!
Over the last few weeks iv created these picturers and iv got them framed and finished off today. All three pictures are going to be exhibited next month in a annual Art Exhibition at for Active Arts, Countesthorpe College, Leicestershire. I hope you like them!

There all made using the wet and needle felting techniqes and then finished off using hand and machine stitching. for more detailed look please see my flickr site on my links.

Iv also been felting some of my handmade soap - there lovely, you dont need to use a flannel, they exfoliate naturally without scrapping your skin! Plus adds a bit of colour to the bathroom...

Well im off, going to make a yummy Pear and Chocolate Meringue from the Jamie Oliver Book iv recommended. Special treat for hubbies birthday!
