Been Bizzie!!

Sorry iv not been on for a while. The weeks seem to be going so quickly!
Iv been quite bizzie over the last week and these are the items that iv been making. (Should i say the finished ones!)

Hand Bags -

Sun burst underarm evening bag and a hand held bag - i must admit these picture's dont do them any justice! There alot brighter in colouring.

Another new range you say!!
Felted rings... These are really fun and i love them.

There's more to come ...

Another set of hair slides on my new backing cards.

Iv also had the sewing machine out! Or should i say i broke my sewing machine and have had to borough one... Things never last for long!

Iv made some bunting for my stall to make it stand out a bit more. So if you see it you'll know its me.

Im not all that great on making things out of fabric, but it's not that bad.

Craft fair news! - Im on the hunt at the moment and have been given some info on a few for the summer and late year. So please keep a look out for new posts on my website and blog.

* Im going to be at Oadby Sainsbury's on the 15th March with my craft stall. This event has been organised for the Sports Relief Charity. So please come along and support the charity.

Really Pleased!

I was absolutely chuffed yesturday. I added some of my newbies to Craft Juice yesturday and by the end of the day my first sun and swirl had reached 5 votes and was pu in the popular crafts section... Thanks to all that voted for me.

Since then iv made another addition to the sun and swirl clan .....

Im liking them both as there individual, though who can create the same pattern without a mould! Another addition to my hair slides is this one....

Also iv booked into some more Craft Fair events, there as follows:
Kirby Muxloe Village Hall, Leicester.
Saturday 3rd May, Saturday 23rd August and Saturday 1st November.

Im also booking in for the RSPCA Charity Craft Fair on Sunday 16th Novemeber. This was a great event last year. Im hopeing to do some more charity events for the RSPCA as this is where we got our dog Holly from when she was a pup.

Holly as a pup

Holly now, 5 years later. I could'nt wish for a better dog, she's lovely!

Well im off to make some more things now. Please keep an eye on my website as its always being updated with my new things.

Welcome to my first blog edition!
I hope you'll enjoy reading what is happening in the life of Creative Bumble Bee (CBB) and keep coming back for more!

Life before
October 07, before CBB was born.... I dont think my feet used to touched the ground! (though i cant say they do know!)I used to be a Complementary Therapies Lecturer at a local FE College, part owner of a Hairdressing, Complementary Therapy and Academy Salon, is well as being a mummy and a housewife. I thought it was time to look at what i was doing in my life and seeming there were elements which i could'nt control i thought i would take a career change!

I now have a few days being a busy mobile Hairdresser and Complementary therapist and have more time with my little one. Inbetween I make soaps, creams, bath products, jewellery, do felting, make some cards etc. So im still busy... but i enjoy it!

Well thats enough of me and more about CBB!

A good start to the week!
Over the last few weeks iv created these picturers and iv got them framed and finished off today. All three pictures are going to be exhibited next month in a annual Art Exhibition at for Active Arts, Countesthorpe College, Leicestershire. I hope you like them!

There all made using the wet and needle felting techniqes and then finished off using hand and machine stitching. for more detailed look please see my flickr site on my links.

Iv also been felting some of my handmade soap - there lovely, you dont need to use a flannel, they exfoliate naturally without scrapping your skin! Plus adds a bit of colour to the bathroom...

Well im off, going to make a yummy Pear and Chocolate Meringue from the Jamie Oliver Book iv recommended. Special treat for hubbies birthday!
