Catch up time!

Where do I start.......

I made a few things for The Contemporary Crafts Shopping Experience, which included this Blue Face Leicester hat and quite a few felted flowers.

Sorry theres no one wearing it. It sold before I could get round to getting a model.

Just one of the flowers.
The Exhibition was a great success and there were many people returning and buying from last year.

Iv been working working hard on my exhibition piece for the NEC next year. Unfortunately I cant post any photos of it yet as my lecturer wants to keep things a bit hush-hush until nearer the time. We have a great amount of work to do for the Fashion Embroidery and Stitch Exhibition and near-enough all the students are working towards it. As you may guess I'm working on two big pieces. I might tease you with some partial pictures later on.

I'm in print! Our Fashion Embroidery and Stitch Exhibition 2010 pieces were published in the Workbox Magazine this month.

"Ditzy Dorisena" on the first page right hand corner. Also a little piece on how she was made.

I'm now working on some final orders and then Christmas pressies. So ill talk to you soon.

Then............ SNOW and half the amount of people come to the show! Ekkkk!

Never mind I'm back now and can share some photos of the weekend with you.

It was rather nice in the evening!

Lovely yummy products!

Gosh my hands are suffering this year..... Yes I know I'm a felter and soap plus water is involved. I applied this all weekend to help them out. Fab stuff Keilly!

There are a few more photos on my phone, but not yet to sort them so ill show them later.

My next event will be my last for the year.

The Contemporary Craft Shopping Experience in Wark. Iv got a few orders and things to make for this event and then its time to wind down. There again I have a list as long as my arm to get through to make things for family and friends. May be ill wind down on Christmas eve!

Big Thankyou!

I'm really chuffed to announce that My British Legion Poppies have raised £40 for this charity. Thank you to everyone that bought one.

Other things that have been happening!

This last week has been manic! I supported my daughters school with there first pamper party. It was a lovely night and well attended.

The Christmas Stocking and Angel felting workshop was on Sunday. We had some great results and quite a few laughs...... as we do!

These are a few of the results. As per usual I forgot to take photos and a few of the ladies had gone home, so I'm sorry that there not all here.

And today.... Iv been to Judge Meadows Community College in Evington, Leicester to show them how to felt. It was a manic hour, but it was great to see the students felting and adding there own designs.

I may be missing for a few weeks as iv got my busiest weeks of my year coming up.
Im going to be at three large events.

Sat 20th and Sun 21st Nov - Hanger one, Sywell Northants with Pennine Fairs.

Fri 26th, Sat 27th and Sun 28th Nov - Sandringham Christmas Craft Show with Living Heritage.

And the last for the year......

Sun 5th Dec - Contemporary Craft Shopping Experience at The Warwickshire Exhibition Centre, Which Claire of Lady Luck Jewellery and Meridienne Exhibitions are organising.

So as you can tell I'm going to be busy, busy. Ill try and keep you updated when I can!
