Workshop Bag and New Flowers

Today's efforts!

Iv got round to finishing the bag and flower that I made when I was demonstrating at the workshop last weekend.

Iv finally got to make a Carnation type flower! Its took me ages and a few attempts to get it right.

I'm going to make some more as I love them so much!

Iv also made three other flowers today, but they need to be finished off. Two with stems and one with a brooch back.

Busy.... busy!

A wonderful day had by all!

I'm really proud of all the ladies that came to my felting workshop today. They all did so well and produced an array of wonderful bags and flower corsages. Most of the ladies hadn't done any felting at all, but the ones that had were given an extra challenge so they wouldn't get to board.

All the ladies sporting there bags and flowers.

Beautiful!

Cheeky moments!

Hard at work!

Loads of smiles and giggles.

Thank you for a lovely day!!

Update......

It's none stop at the moment.
I'm currently trying to get my flower brooch's back up to a good number again and also.........

These are some commissioned adult fairy slippers I'm making at the moment. Just waiting for everything to dry, then ill put them all together.

A bit of embellishing and embroidery! Ok, yes I was the one that said I don't like embroidering, but after doing my friends handbag for her, Iv really enjoyed doing these. I'm going to look from some frames for them tomorrow.

I'm not one to be making loads of jewellery. I don't tend to make it as getting into fairs these days is a nightmare if you make jewellery or even have a hint of it on your stall. The jewellery market is a big battle at the moment, as many of my friends are finding.

Anyway I seen someone wearing something similar the other day and I thought... I like that! But I added two strands and another shape into it too. This is going to be mine. I also suppose that there maybe a few friends wanting them for Christmas pressies too!

New things...........

Just a quick in site to what iv been up to......

Here's what I made on holiday

Crocheting wristbands, geodes, some hair clips and a felt stone - totally made from Shetland fleece.

I do love making these.

Iv finally finished my Stone style Shetland bowl!

Last week I felted 45 soaps! Some for Mad About Nature and me for our weekend fairs. Though I need to get some more done now as we nearly sold out! Eek!

Sorry for the short post. I'm getting ready for my first felting workshop on Sunday. I'm really looking forward to it! I need to replenish my stock and get some more ideas out of my head.

Its been a while!

Well I'm back from my holiday. We had the most wonderful time in Norfolk. It bought back so many lovely memories from my childhood.

I just thought I would share some family moments with you.

My wonderful family. My son and husband have the same frown!

One of my favorite photos of the holiday. Brother and sister happy walking together.

Our gorgeous Holly loving the beach.

Who wants to go aboard when you have a beach to yourself, 24 degrees and a family really happy playing!

Me and daughter having a adventure at Berwilderwood. Even though we got totally soaked in the process.

Well that's just a few photos. I did do a bit of crocheting and felting whilst away and when I find them ill let you have a look.
